Fibromyalgia may be described as the particular condition wherein the affected person suffers from extensive musculoskeletal pain apart from sleep, fatigue and mood issues. Diagnosis and Treatment – The doctors find out the underlying causes with blood tests that involve complete blood count, thyroid function tests and erythrocyte sedimentation rate etc. Patients may be advised to take Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen or Naproxen sodium etc. The doctor may recommend Tramadol and antidepressants too. Anti-seizure drugs including Gabapentin and pregabalin may also give good results. Acupuncture, Tai Chi and message therapies are the best techniques to say NO to this problem. Flow of blood in different parts of the body including brain is improved that in turn helps to control this disease in a big way through these methods. They cost little but provide good results.

Patients are advised to adopt exercising, yoga asana and long walks that are much helpful in getting relief from this disease. It may look difficult in the start but making it a habit is much helpful. Those suffering from Fibromyalgia should shun stress and remain happy. Sufficient sleep and relaxation are a must. Meditation and remaining busy is one of the best remedies to control stress. As inactivity may lead to this disease, one should get involved in physical work for maximum hours in a day. Healthy lifestyle also works wonders. Taking rich diets and abstinence from alcohol and smoking are much helpful for the patients.
